
Business Eligibility
Springboard Business Centre welcomes new and young businesses in the high tec, creative and knowledge based sectors.
For Example:

| E commerce | Software Development | Technical Support Services |
| E business | General Design | Software Creation |
- Businesses must also become involved in an on-going relationship with the Business Development Officer located at the Centre who will be available to offer direct help and provide access to business specialists and to Business Link Services as required.
- Provide a robust business plan and case for support
- Be less than 3 years old
- Have less than 250 employees
- Have an annual turnover not exceeding 40M or annual balance sheet total not exceeding 27M
- Not have more than 24% of capital or voting rights or an applicant business owned by an enterprise which is not itself an SME
- Adhere to the management & monitoring requirements of HDC
- Companies must also be able to demonstrate a high level of dependence upon e. commerce e business, or digital technologies
Ineligible Businesses would include the following
- Retail
- Personal Services eg Hairdressers, Tradesmen etc
- Building Contractors & associated trades
- Social welfare facilities
- Professional services ie accountants, solicitors etc
- Primary Industries
- Franchisees.
